Literally sticks and yarn . . . .

QUARANTINE CRAFTS

I'm not saying that staying home is getting to me, but one day I literally started wrapping yarn around sticks.

I was inspired by Jimmy Fallon's wife, Nancy, who is making something with much larger sticks. They've mentioned it a couple times on his at-home Tonight Show.

Anyway, I gathered some sticks from my yard and some various yarn scraps (all free!) and made my own version of this Girl Scout/Bible School/Betty Lou & the Magic Window craft project. It turned out pretty good and gave me a sense of accomplishment. I liked them enough that I made two!

No secrets here. Just wrap yarn, twine, ribbon, etc around a stick. I liked leaving some bare spots. A few of the places I needed white glue to get the ends to stay in place.

Thanks for stopping by and stay safe!
