Heartfelt Christmas card

Photobucket
This is one of those cards that doesn't photograph too well. This is the new stamp set Heartfelt Christmas from the fall CTMH catalog. The cardstock and snowflakes are watermelon, and the reindeer was stamped in white daisy and then covered in prisma glitter.

Merry Monster Card

This monster card uses the colors citrus leaf, black, and white. The stamp set is Merry Monsters. There are little pearls on it and the monster's eyes have prisma glitter on them.

Trick or Treat Card

This Halloween card has a lot of non-CTMH stuff, but the bird is from the stamp set Bird Basics, except I added a bigger beak. I took the basic idea from a card by Connie Babbert in the Aug/Sept. Stampers Sampler magazine.

Neighborhood card

This card was really simple using heavenly blue textured cardstock and only the colors black, heavenly blue, and white. There are three tiny pearls at the bottom right. The stamps are the new set Neighborhood from the new fall catalog.

It's been awhile...

No posts in over a month....I'm going to try to do better. During last month:
Jess moved back to college. This is Jess & Neal on the patio of their apartment on moving day:

Nick started high school. Here he is on the first day:

And, we took a long weekend to Wisconsin to a Jimmy Buffett concert. This pic was at our hotel. It was chilly.

Boom-Di-Ada Birthday Card

In case you hadn't guessed, I have NO plans for the weekend, but I am getting my card inventory built back up.

This birthday card is based on another Wishes pattern, Designer Tag. I used the Boom-Di-Ada creative basics set and the "happy birthday" is from the Annotations stamp set.

Girl Jump Roping Birthday Card

This card pattern is called Cubed Collage and it's from CTMH's newest cardmaking instruction book entitled Wishes. The book helps with the basic pattern and dimensions, then you provide the creativity. I used the Playday and Fringed Phrases stamp sets and the Animal Cookies creative basics papers.

Thinking of You Card

This card measures 4-1/2" x 4-1/2". I used the Key to My Heart paper pack and the Just Because, Lovely Daisy, Adorning Corners, and Airmail stamp sets.

Monochromatic Wedding Card

The only stamp set I used was For Every Occasion for "love," which I stamped with vanilla cream, then embossed with translucent embossing powder.

Fancy Fold Birthday Card

The first picture is the card unfolded. I used Emporium papers, Butterfly Kisses stamps, and rubons, liquid glass, and stickles. The folding looks more difficult than it is, and it stands up nicely to display. I'm thinking about doing another version for a workshop.
This is the front of the card folded up. It fits into a normal envelope when folded.
I got this idea from the CTMH message boards (sorry I can't remember from who) and I believe they got the idea from Split Coast Stampers.

Tropical Birthday Card

This card uses the stamp sets Playday, Good Times, Fringed Phrases, Surf's Up, and Adorning Corners. The background paper is Animal Cookies. There is a lot of bling on the title and surfboard, and pearls in the center of the flowers.

Welcome Baby Card

I used my Cuttlebug, Nestability Dies, and the stamp sets Welcome Baby, Surf's Up, and Playday. The colors are Indian Corn Blue, Sweet Leaf, and Cocoa, and the background paper is from the Emporium paper pack. The baby and umbrella are highlighted with liquid glass.

Martini Card

I didn't want to do another duck card, but I had the martini glass shape in mind, and this is what I came up with. I used the Be Yourself and Fringed Phrases stamp sets.
