French Quarter layout with Passages B&T papers

I used CTMH's paper pack Passages, and I think it brings out the French Quarter feel.  Cocoa, Colonial White, and Barn Red CS were also used.
The title was done with the Chocolate Alphabet stamp set and Cocoa ink.  The tone-on-tone stamping around the edge is from the Delightful Things stamp set.  All papers and pictures were distressed by sponging Cocoa ink on the edges.  The layout is "Sidebar" from the Reflections scrapbook program book.

The second layout is "Main Frame - Quilt Blocks," also from the Reflections book.  The edge stamping is from the Key to My Heart stamp set.  Other stamps used are:  Legendary Moments (fleur de lis), Live Inspired (corner decoration), Happy Journey (column), and Wonderful Friend (clock).

More Paper-Pieced Baby Cards

Two more baby cards with the carriage from CTMH's Ms. on the Go stamp set.  The first one is made with Caboodle B&T papers, and the second one uses Sweet Home B&T papers.

Antique Postcard "Encourage the Smile"

I made this using original early 1900s postcards that had little or no value because of damage.  I added mats of CTMH cardstock in Indian Corn Blue, Colonial White, and Creme Brulee; a little ribbon; and flowers with pearl centers. The sentiment is from a second antique postcard and reads:  "Encourage the Smile.  The thing that goes the farthest, Towards making life worthwhile, That costs the least and does the most, Is just a pleasant smile."

A Tweet Card

This card uses CTMH Veranda papers and the colors Creme Brulee, Garden Green, and Juniper.  The bird and branch are from the CTMH stamp set A Tweet, and the sentiment is from the Treasures stamp set.  The bird was loaded with both Garden Green and Juniper inks.  Garden Green ink was used to distress all edges.  The punch is from EK Success.

New Orleans Voodoo Layout

The black & white papers in this voodoo layout are from Creative Memories.  The lettering are the stamp set Rustic Alphabet from Close to My Heart.
This page is of Jess in a Mardi Gras mask, a fortune teller in Jackson Square, and Jess in a French Quarter restaurant in front of several voodoo candles.
I printed two pictures of Jess in the mask and cut out around the mask of one photo.  I glued the second mask on to the other photo with dimensional adhesive.  The eyes and mask really stand out.
This is one of the voodoo shops we visited in the French Quarter.

Baby Cards!

The colors in this card are mostly CTMH's Juniper and Creme Brulee.  The stamp is from the set Ms. on the Go.  The original stamp has a mom pushing the carriage, but I cut the mom off.  Pearls hide the mom's hand on the handle.  There are also pearls in the wheels.  I stamped the carriage once on Colonial White CS and then again on the polka dot B&T paper.  Then I cut out and added the pieced of polka dot paper I wanted on to the carriage.  The bow and button are tied with waxy flax.  The center squares are raised, and the carriage is raised further.
This simple card is all Colonial White and Watermelon.  The white background was embossed in the Cuttlebug.  The baby stamp is from CTMH's Playtime set; the flower is from Extreme Happiness, and the sentiment is from Family--Children.  Both the baby and the sentiment are raised.

Make a Wish Card

I copied this card from Sarah Masteller's blog.  It was so simple and classy.  I love it.  The stamp set is Make a Wish.

Summer Birthday Cards

For this sailboat little boy birthday card, I used the stamp set Birthday Boy and Caboodle B&T papers with Sorbet and Buttercup CS.  The Tiny Tab at the top says "happy."  I added glitter in some of the circles of the Caboodle paper and the lettering, but it doesn't show up in the picture.
The duck on this card is from one of my favorite sets, Makin' Waves.  The fish are from Hook, Line, & Sinker, and the sentiment is from Fringed Phrases.  The Crystal Blue background CS was embossed in my cuttlebug, then sanded to show the CTMH white core.  Colors are Orange, Crystal Blue, Sweet Leaf, and Buttercup.  The fishes' eyes are tiny sparkles.

Another Beach Layout

One last layout from Orange Beach:  I used Daydream B&T papers and the stamp sets A Tweet and Key to My Heart.  The white shells were cut with the Cricut.  The layout is Leading Lady from the Imagine book.
