Girl Cards with Be Yourself and Just Because

This card is Tulip, White, and Black.  I embossed the background with my Cuttlebug and sanded it to show the white core of CTMH's cardstock. The stamped images are from CTMH's "Be Yourself" stamp set.  I stamped the girl once in black and then again in Tulip.  I cut out the tulip dress and glued it over the black image.  The flower is a "Tim Holtz rose," although I used a different six-petal flower punch I had on hand.  The flower sticks out from the card a long ways, so this card will have to be presented by hand without an envelope, or included in a gift bag or box.

I love using CTMH's "Just Blooms" flowers and cutting them up to make skirts.  I paperpieced this image just like the one above, and I used CTMH's "Cherry-O" paper for the mat.  The image is from the stamp set "Just Because."

Be Yourself Cards

Another Be Yourself Card

I keep going back to this stamp set (Be Yourself), even though it was a stamp of the month last year and not available for sale.  Hopefully CTMH will bring it back for sale soon.  I used white, black, and ocean.  The sentiment is from the One of a Kind stamp set.  The B&T paper and the bling are non-CTMH.  I stamped the girl, then re-stamped it in ocean, cut out the ocean dress, and paper-pieced it to the other image.

Tickled Pink with Be Yourself Birthday Card

The papers are from the Tickled Pink set, and the stamp is Be Yourself.  It's hard to see, but there's a pink "gem" on the girl's finger.

You Rock and Be Yourself Card

I really like this card.  I used the new CTMH paper You Rock and paper pieced a girl from the stamp set Be Yourself.  I added black Stickles to her boots and lots of bling here and there.

Martini Card

I didn't want to do another duck card, but I had the martini glass shape in mind, and this is what I came up with. I used the Be Yourself and Fringed Phrases stamp sets.

Be Yourself

I made this kind of funky card for a lady who is retiring. The stamp set is Be Yourself. I stamped the girl once with black and once with tulip, then cut the dress out of the tulip image and glued it over the black image.
