Unity Owl Card

I did a free make and take of a fall card at a chain store this week that started with a 3" x 3" black card with white ink around the edge.  It was awful, but I did like the concept, so I made one of my own this weekend.

This little owl is from Unity Stamp Company's "Total Cuteness" set.  I colored it with Copic markers.

 

I used some rockstar red "Sparkly Fluff" from Our Craft Lounge on the wings for some sparkle and fluffy dimension. (Note: The photo shows eyeliner black fluff--I had the caps on the wrong jars.)  I also added some cinnamon Stickles to the end of the owl's eyelashes.



Bachelorette Party Card

I made this card for a coworker who needed a card for a bachelorette party.  I thought these images and sentiment from Unity Stamp Company's "Going Retro" set were perfect.  The B&T paper is from an old retired CTMH set.  I colored the image with Copic markers, and I added the pink bling to the woman's belt and the background.

Golf Birthday Card

The B&T papers for this golf-themed birthday card are from Karen Foster Design.  The flag is one of the stamps from Unity Stamp Co.'s stamp set Vintage Banners.  I used a row of bling for the pole.  "Happy Birthday" is from Close to My Heart's "Say It in Style" set.

Put the Lime in the Coconut

Trying to use up some of my retired CTMH CS.  The blue is Ocean, the green is Citrus Leaf, and the pink is Bubblegum.  The tan is Desert Sand (still available).  The pink stamping on the right card is from the CTMH stamp set called Paradise, and the other blender image and words are from Unity Stamp Co.

This stamp set is from Unity Stamp Co., and I colored it with copic markers.  The upper right and lower left have corners of sparkles. 

Scrapfest II

More pictures from Scrapfest.  This was the main classroom at the Best Buy Rotunda.

These pictures were from Unity's booth.  I love their stamps, and the people working were fun, knowledgeable about their products, and didn't take themselves too seriously.

Scrapfest

Back from Scrapfest at the Mall of America.  This is the lanyard I was rockin' all weekend.  Pretty much impossible to not look ridiculous in a lanyard, let alone one that's 5x7.

Robin (with head turned away) crafting a make-n-take at the EK Success booth.  As a whole we thought the make-n-takes weren't worth standing in line for.  Some of the lines were over an hour long.  Some women had rolling carts with handmade seat cushions on them so they could sit down in line.  As a rule, unless it's a tailgate or a picnic, I don't want to go anywhere that I need to bring my own chair, especially if it's because of standing in line.

There were SOME great free make-n-takes though.  These are my favorites.  The flower at the top left is from Graphic 45's booth; the flower tag is from Unity Stamp Co.; the ghost card--Tombow (?); then on the bottom row the flower card is from Cosmo Cricket; the snowman tag--Our Craft Lounge (actually at a promo booth with Copic and Sparkly Fluff); and the Christmas card was made at Karen Foster's booth.
