Key West Layouts (post 5)

Sunset Cruise:

A sunset cruise in Key West is a must! Of course our gang of Parrotheads elected to go with a "booze cruise," and I scrapbooked it in this layout.  The views were stunning, the rum punch was tasty, and it's a great memory.

I used CTMH's "Tommy" paper pack with its nautical theme. I hand wrote the title for this one.

I always forget to use the odder embellishments that coordinate with a paper pack, but I saw this example in the CTMH catalog, and I really like how the grouping turned out.

On the right side, I added some chipboard stars, one I covered in ink and the other in B&T paper.

Stormy Seas / Art Impressions Card

The beach-going gal on this card is in the "Sally Swimmer" set from Art Impressions.  I colored Sally with Copic markers and affixed her with dimensional adhesive.  Everything else is from CTMH's "Tommy" paper pack and workshop on the go.  I didn't take a photo of the inside, but it says simply,
"Happy Birthday."

Bright Sunshiny Day Card II

Another card with the new CTMH "Tommy" papers and the "Bright Sunshiny Day" stamp set.  I love these papers and stamps together.  Probably for the same reason I like these old, stained dishtowels I have:

Here's another reason I'm dreaming of the beach and sunshine.  This is what's happening right now out my window:

It's hard to see, but it's snowing sideways, and it's just the beginning.  We might get up to nine inches of snow tonight.

Bright Sunshiny Day Card / Mojo Monday 281

Two possible winter storms heading our way this week, so I'm thinking about warm weather.  The sentiment on this card says, "No matter the weather, always bring your own sunshine."  I'm tryin'.

Both the stamp set, "Bright Sunshiny Day" and the paper pack, "Tommy" are new products from the new CTMH Spring/Summer Idea Book.  Click HERE or the link on the side of my blog to view the new Idea Book.  The main colors are Outdoor Denim, Honey, and Cranberry.  I colored the stamps with my Copic Sketch markers.

The layout for this card came from the Mojo Monday Blog, #281.  Here's the original sketch:
