Moon Doggie Layout

This Orange Beach layout was made with CTMH's Moon Doggie B&T paper and Star Spangled Blue background CS.  The stamp set for "Orange Beach is Woodcut Alphabet.

Back Country Layout with Flip Flap Page

I used CTMH's Back Country B&T papers on Terra Cotta CS for this layout from Lambert's Cafe in Alabama.  This pic is without page protectors.  Everything is CTMH except for the two SU mini clips.  For the title, I used CTMH's Rustic Alphabet stamp set.

Here's a close-up of the left page.  This is the place where they throw huge rolls at you from across the room and staff walks around offering hot butter, molasses and side dishes of fried okra, macaroni, cabbage, and fried potatoes, which you get in addition to your meal--waaaay too much food, but it's very good.

And here's the right side.  This pic is with the page protector, so it shows the first picture in the flip flap.

This last shot shows the flip flap page open.  These are great when you have more photos than you have room on the layout.  This time, I only had two extra, so I only needed one flip flap page, but you can layer them as deep as necessary.  They stick on to the outside of your page protector, so you can flip through them without removing your page.

Employee Spirit Month

March is National Employee Spirit Month!!!  Working in a government office fraught with budget cuts, layoffs, and some generally odd people, I'm interpreting "spirit" to mean alcohol.  So in honor of Employee [Alcohol] Month, I made an It's 5'clock Somewhere card:

Colors are Citrus Leaf and Buttercup.  Stamp sets used are Flower Pot ("It's"), Paradise (row of drinks), Extreme Happiness (row of hibiscus), Hang Ten (palm trees), Star Power (ink splotches), Around the Block ("where"), Life is a Party (drink clock hands), Bunny Love ("Some"), Comments (paper grid), Make it Count (clock), Notice the Details (binder clip, paper edging & "important to remember") and Sm. Friendship Alpha. ("5").

Welcome Baby Card

The B&T paper on this baby card is Country, which is retired.  I used the stamp sets Ms. on the Go (image) and Welcome Baby (sentiment).  I used Copic markers to color the image.

Audubon Zoo Layout

I made this layout with a series of pics of Jess trying to climb on a statue of a lioness at "Monkey Hill" in New Orleans' James Audubon Zoo.  After many attempts, Neal had to lift her on the statue for the photo op.

Another Be Yourself Card

I keep going back to this stamp set (Be Yourself), even though it was a stamp of the month last year and not available for sale.  Hopefully CTMH will bring it back for sale soon.  I used white, black, and ocean.  The sentiment is from the One of a Kind stamp set.  The B&T paper and the bling are non-CTMH.  I stamped the girl, then re-stamped it in ocean, cut out the ocean dress, and paper-pieced it to the other image.

This is a birthday card with a top fold.  Although the B&T paper and ribbon are non-CTMH, they go well wtih the Heavenly Blue CTMH cardstock used in the center.  I used Heavenly Blue ink for a monochromatic background and then stamped with black on top.  The stamp set is One of a Kind.  I also added some tiny bits of bling on the stamped image.

Ms. on the Go Birthday Card

This birthday card uses an image from the Ms. on the Go CTMH stamp set, as well as the March Stamp of the Month, A Little Everything.  The image is stamped in black ink, then colored with watercolor pencils and blended with the CTMH water brush.  The blank B&T paper is from CM.

Flower Pot Birthday Card

This window box stamp comes with the set "Flower Pot," which is CTMH's Stamp of the Month available in April.  I paper-pieced the card by stamping it once on Desert Sand cardstock (shutters) and three times on white cardstock (flower box, flowers, and window opening).  I colored them with inks and the CTMH blending pen, cut them out, then adhered them together.  I used dimensional adhesive to raise the edges of the shutters.  There are also metal embellishments on the shutters and Liquid Glass on the flower centers.  The background is Amethyst cardstock that I dry embossed with my Scor-Pal then sanded to show the white core.  The edge punch across the top is from EK Success.

More Road Trip Layouts from Vacation

I'm not sure who makes the license plates and sign paper, but they look great with CTMH desert sand, outdoor denim, and colonial white cardstock.  "Are we there yet" is stamped with the Rustic Alphabet stamp set (I thought it matched the license plate letters well) with outdoor denim ink.  I scored the background desert sand cardstock on the scor-pal and then sanded it.

One of a Kind Masculine Card

This masculine card uses the new stamp set, One of a Kind.  I used watercolor paper (because I like the way it tears) for the white mat and embossed it with my cuttlebug.  Everything else is CTMH.  The colors are Chocolate, Sweat Leaf, and Colonial White.

This card reminds me of an 80s Scorpions song.

Cheers to You! card

I'm trying to use up some misc. product.  This card is all non-CTMH.  The stamps are SU, some of the paper is CM, and the rest is unknown.  I think it'll make a nice engagement, wedding, or anniversary card.

Veranda collage birthday card

I used CTMH Veranda papers and TEN stamp sets on this birthday card.  The colors are Cocoa, Tulip, Creme Brulee, and Garden Green.  The stampsets (all CTMH) used are:  Make It Count ("You only live once...," clock face, tone-on-tone numbers), Butterfly Kiss (tone-on-tone butterfly), Neighborhood (car), Star Power (wings), Life is a Party (drink glass clock hand), Welcome Home (flower pot clock hand), Treasures ("Make a wish" and tone-on-tone flowers), Code It (barely visible bar code), So Sweet (bird), and Springtime (umbrella).  The card pattern is Diamond Duo from the Originals cardmaking book.

Hit the Road Vacation Scrapbook Pages

Another layout from January's vacation.  At this rate I won't be done before next January.  The B&T paper is not CTMH, but almost everything else on the layout is.  The main colors are Cocoa, Goldrush, and Juniper.  I also used stamps from the sets Summertime and Comments. (Note:  In the picture on the first page, it looks like Tom & I might be holding hands.  Actually those are Jess's feet between us.)
