I really like the colors of this card. I used the basically the same layout as my last post, but I used the new CTMH paper pack, Magnifique, and the new coordinating stamp set "Circle of Love." I stamped the peacock on Lagoon CS with Pacifica ink. I colored in a few spots with Barn Red, made highlights with a white colored pencil, and added tiny sparkles here and there.
This is beautiful! I love the coloring on the stamp.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful job coloring the peacock! Looks like I need to find a white colored pencil. Have seen one used a couple of times this week and really like the effect.
ReplyDeleteMy K-12 (small school) art teacher, Mrs. Wright, taught us that the white colored pencil was the most important in the box. It's really the only one I still use, except for watercolor pencils. Thanks, ladies for your comments!
ReplyDeleteYour card is gorgeous. I love how you stamped the peacock on colored cardstock. It really makes it pop.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lori! I actually had it stamped both on the Lagoon CS and on Colonial White--so I'm glad I went with what I did.
ReplyDeleteBEAUTIFUL! I LOVE the white pencil idea.
ReplyDeleteI love the colors too! Beautiful card.
ReplyDeleteYou have been busy! I love this card. Thanks for reminding me to pull out my colored pencils.
