Mojo Monday Challenge 382

Second Post Today! (Please scroll down to see my first post with cards made from vintage postcard elements.)

The snow has me being very crafty today, so I participated in this week's Mojo Monday Challenge.

The challenge was to make a tall & skinny card using the following sketch as inspiration:

Here's what I came up with:
I went with a card 3.75" x 8.5" that fits into a standard business envelope.  The papers are from CTMH's "Lollydoodle" paper pack.  The bird is "Cha Cha" from Whipper Snapper Designs. "Happy Birthday" is the CTMH stamp "Heartfelt Birthday Wish." The bird and sentiment are both colored with Copics, and I added sparkles to the bird's feathers and the left side of the white oval.  The ribbon (which I should have straightened before I took the picture) was from my stash.

Bright Sunshiny Day Card / Mojo Monday 281

Two possible winter storms heading our way this week, so I'm thinking about warm weather.  The sentiment on this card says, "No matter the weather, always bring your own sunshine."  I'm tryin'.
Both the stamp set, "Bright Sunshiny Day" and the paper pack, "Tommy" are new products from the new CTMH Spring/Summer Idea Book.  Click HERE or the link on the side of my blog to view the new Idea Book.  The main colors are Outdoor Denim, Honey, and Cranberry.  I colored the stamps with my Copic Sketch markers.
The layout for this card came from the Mojo Monday Blog, #281.  Here's the original sketch:

Mojo Monday 269 / Merry Pursuits Card

I'm playing along with the Mojo Monday sketch challenge blog this week.  Here is the inspirational sketch:
I chose the square version and made my card (above) using CTMH cs, the "Merry Pursuits" stamp set for the elf, and the "Vintage Type" set for the letters.  My favorite snowflake punch is on there again, and I added some adhesive pearls to the snowflake centers and one red adhesive gem to the end of the elf's stocking hat.

Flirty Card / Mojo Monday #255

I made this card, which I'll use for a birthday, using CTMH's new paper pack, "Flirty."
I followed the sketch from this week's Mojo Monday Challenge #255.  The flower and leaves are stamps from CTMH's new set, "Love Blooms" and they are popped up over a piece of CTMH burlap ribbon.

MoJo Monday #246

I decided to play along at Mojo Monday card challenge this week for challenge #246.  Here's what I came up with from this week's sketch:

This card doesn't stay true to any particular company.  The dotted paper is from CTMH's Dotty for You paper pack, and the cs is also CTMH (smoothie, sunny yellow, and sweet leaf).  The chair and umbrella are from CTMH's Just Chillin' stamp set, and the sun and "Enjoy Life" are from CTMH's Kick Back stamp set.  The drink stamps are all from SU, and I colored them with copics.  The black background B&T is from CM.  The umbrella is popped up with a little flower and bling embellishment, and I added a line of pearls for the "sand."

Mojo Monday Challenge 222 with Cherry-O

I played along with the Mojo Monday sketch challenge today.  Here's the sketch I started with:
All the materials on my card are from CTMH, except for the mini blue flowers, which are from Recollections.  The paper is from the CTMH paper pack "Cherry-O" and the stamps are "Zoology" (ticket) and "Card Chatter - Birthday" (sentiment).
The inside of the card reads:  "I'm just extending the Celebration!"

King & Queen of Hearts card / Mojo Monday 201

I made this engagement/wedding card for the Mojo Monday challenge #201.  I've been looking for something to do with some old playing cards, and I thought they fit with this week's sketch.  The colors are black, holiday red, and sunny yellow.  The B&T paper is from CTMH's fanfare pack.  Both the tag and the heart in the circle on the right are raised.  I like how it turned out, but if I was redoing it, I'd make sure the king's face was visible.  Next time...   TFL!

MoJo Monday 198

I made this Christmas card using the Mojo Monday 198 sketch challenge.  The paper is all CTMH, but the snowman image is from Whipper Snapper Designs, Inc.
I colored the image with copics and added snowflake punches dappled with icicle Stickles.  Here's the inspiration sketch from the Mojo Monday blog:
To make the ribbon-like edge of the strips easily and equally, here's my trick.  Use a chevron punch (mine hadn't been used in ages), and line of the strip from the back (see pic).  It was really easy and will work for varying sizes of strips of paper.
