More Desk Calendars

2010 Desk Calendar

I'm making some of these for gifts this year.

Holiday Joy and Welcome Home card

CTMH's cranberry is the main color for this Christmas card. I used three stamp sets: Holiday Joy, Welcome Home, and Just for the Holidays. The couch and banner are popped up, and there are tiny pearls in the center of the couch cushions.

Peace on Earth card

This Christmas card uses the CTMH Halloween stamp set "Merry Monsters" with the Christmas set "All Decked Out" for the hat and earmuffs. The sentiment is from "Say It in Style." The papers are from the CTMH "Jingle" paper pack. The monsters have liquid glass and prisma glitter on their eyes. The greenery punch is from Martha Stewart.

Evensong Christmas Card

Old-fashioned Card Using Flower Soft

I used the stamp sets Holiday Joy and Delightful Things (border). The ribbon on the swag has Liquid Glass on it, and the greenery and stocking cuff have flower soft on them.

It's Your Day Christmas Card

I used the cake layers from the birthday stamp set It's Your Day to make the tree branches and the Christmas set Just for the Holidays for the sentiment. The tree trunk is hemp. The B&T paper is from the Jingle paper set. Twinkle brads make up the tree topper and the accents in the lower left. Colors are cocoa, tulip, juniper, ponderosa pine, and olive.

Heartfelt Christmas card

Photobucket
This is one of those cards that doesn't photograph too well. This is the new stamp set Heartfelt Christmas from the fall CTMH catalog. The cardstock and snowflakes are watermelon, and the reindeer was stamped in white daisy and then covered in prisma glitter.

Merry Monster Card

This monster card uses the colors citrus leaf, black, and white. The stamp set is Merry Monsters. There are little pearls on it and the monster's eyes have prisma glitter on them.

Trick or Treat Card

This Halloween card has a lot of non-CTMH stuff, but the bird is from the stamp set Bird Basics, except I added a bigger beak. I took the basic idea from a card by Connie Babbert in the Aug/Sept. Stampers Sampler magazine.

Neighborhood card

This card was really simple using heavenly blue textured cardstock and only the colors black, heavenly blue, and white. There are three tiny pearls at the bottom right. The stamps are the new set Neighborhood from the new fall catalog.

It's been awhile...

No posts in over a month....I'm going to try to do better. During last month:
Jess moved back to college. This is Jess & Neal on the patio of their apartment on moving day:

Nick started high school. Here he is on the first day:

And, we took a long weekend to Wisconsin to a Jimmy Buffett concert. This pic was at our hotel. It was chilly.
